This is destruction of confidential and sensitive documents by financial institutions or government agencies in order to protect information that shouldn’t be leaked out to the public. We offer onsite, secure and certified document destruction services to clients that have a need to destroy outdated and archived documents. We use industrial cross-cut shredders and the shredded materials are bagged and sent to a recycling plant. Recycling destroyed documents resonates with the CBN Sustainable Banking Principle Number 2 which involves banks managing their own environmental and social footprints.
Our process requires strict compliance to a protocol of detailing and authorizing the actual documents to be destroyed, capturing the location, weight and date that documents were destroyed after which a Certificate of Destruction will be issued for each location that shredding occurs.
