Creating Sustainable Environment Through Recycling

WasteXchange Sustainability Framework

At WASTEXCHANGE, we have adopted a Triple Bottom Line framework to evaluate our performance in a broader perspective to create greater business value. The framework aims to measure the financial, social and environmental performance of our operations over a period of time.

Behind the Triple bottom line sustainability framework lies the same fundamental principle: what you measure is what you get, because what you measure is what you are likely to pay attention to. At WASTEXCHANGE, we believe that only when companies measure their social and environmental impact will we have socially and environmentally responsible organizations. The entire value chain of our unique waste recycling model promotes Poverty Eradication, Women Empowerment, Youth Employment, Community Engagement and Environmental Sustainability.

The WASTEXCHANGE model is positively impacting Nigeria and Africa, where it is very common to see littered streets, clogged drainages and overflowing dumpsites. By facilitating recycling, our initiative helps mitigate climate change, while creating jobs and opportunities for underprivileged communities in the process. The WASTEXCHANGE brand greatly aspires to be globally identified as the social currency that converts waste to wealth.
